Sabdham Teaser: Aadhi sets out to decode the sounds of horrors

The makers of actor Aadhi Pinnisetty's Sabdham released the teaser of the upcoming film. Directed by Arivazhagan, the shoot of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film was wrapped up last year.

Billed as a horror thriller, Sabdham stars Lakshmi Menon as the female lead, along with notable actors Laila and Simran playing prominent roles. The film also features Redin Kingsley in another significant role.

The nearly one-and-a-half-minute-long teaser opens with a woman dying by suicide which opens doors to several ominous incidents occuring inside a college. Aadhi looks to be playing a teacher who also sets out to investigate the reason behind the eerie incidents where several people hear unbearable loud noises. We also see glimpses of Lakshmi Menon and Simran, but their roles are not revealed in the teaser.

Arivazhagan and Aadhi earlier worked in the critically acclaimed 2009 horror film Eeram. Backed by 7G Films with Aalpha Frames, a home banner of Arivazhagan, the upcoming film will mark his debut production venture.

The technical crew of Sabdham consists of S Thaman scoring the music, Arun Bathmanaban handling the cinematography, and VJ Sabu handling the editing. Arivazhagan has already worked with Thaman on his previous films, including Eeram, Vallinam and Aarathu Sinam.

The makers are yet to announce a release date for Sabdham.
