Regret not working with Vijay: Sundar C

Actor-director Sundar C, who is gearing up for the release of Aranmanai 4, has said in an interview that he regrets not working with Vijay.

In an interview to SS Music, the director said he regrets not directing Vijay. He has made films starring Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth in the past.

"I have worked in two generations. Each generation had two top heroes. I worked with Rajini and Kamal. In the next generation, it is Ajith and Vijay. I came so close to working with Vijay but I missed working with him," he said.

On how he survived in the industry for three decades, he said he doesn't believe in going after stars because he might lose his individuality. "I finalise a script and see who would be appropriate for the roles," he added.

The fourth installment of the Aranmanai franchise, starring Sundar C, Santhosh Prathap, Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashi Khanna, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Singampuli, Kovai Sarala and Naan Kadavul Rajendran, is expected to be released this month.

The songs and trailer of the film was recently launched.

Aranmanai 4 is backed by Benz Media Pvt Ltd and Avni Cinemax (P) Ltd. The technical crew of the film includes Hiphop Tamizha scoring the music with Esakki Krishnasamy as cinematographer. Fenny Oliver S is the editor.
