Sathish's next titled Conjuring Kannappan

On Monday, AGS Entertainments announced that they will be backing actor Sathish's next, a horror flick titled Conjuring Kannapan. The film marks the directorial debut of Selvin Raj Xavier, who has previously assisted Chimbu Devan and Sumanth Radhakrishnan. 

Regina Cassandra, Nasser, Saranya Ponvannan, Anandraj, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley, Namo Narayana, Naane Varuvaen-fame Elli AvrRam, Jason Shaw and Benedict Garrett are also a part of the film's cast. 

The film, billed to be of the comedy-horror-fantasy genre, is the 24th production venture of AGS Entertainments. The film is said to have been made with high production value and with state-of-the-art technology. Conjuring Kannapan has been shot in Chennai on huge sets resembling ancient buildings. 

Talking about Conjuring Kannapan, Director Selvin Raj Xavier said in an official statement, "The film will give the audience a different new experience and will provide them good entertainment. We have made it a compelling mixture of comedy, horror and fantasy. Especially, children will enjoy this film a lot. Conjuring Kannapan will definitely appeal to people of all ages."

The film's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix. The makers plan to release Conjuring Kannapan by the end of this year.
