Vidharth and Yogi Babu's Kuiko gets release date

The makers of Yogi Babu and Vidharth's Kuiko have announced that the film will hit theatres on November 24.

The film is written and directed by D Arul Chezhian, who previously wrote Aandavan Kattalai (2016). He is all set to make his directorial debut with Kuiko.

Kuiko will be released alongside a slew of Tamil releases scheduled to hit theatres that day including Vikram's Dhruva Natchathiram, Santhanam's 80s Buildup, Arya's web series for Prime Video The Village and Rio Raj's Joe.

In a previous conversation with CE about Kuiko, director Arul said, “Yogi Babu plays a commoner who rears camels in Saudi Arabia for a living. When his mother passes away in his hometown, he asks her mortal remains to be preserved in a freezer box, till his arrival. After the rituals are over, Yogi Babu decides to hold onto the freezer box, in memory of his mother. How the freezer box brings changes in his life, forms the rest of the story.”

The technical crew of Kuiko includes music composer Anthony Dasan, cinematographer Rajesh Yadav, and editor Ram Pandian. The film is backed by AST Films LLP.
