Dhanush' Vaathi to stream on this date

Dhanush's latest film Vaathi/Sir will premiere digitally on Netflix on March 17. The streamer announced the news through their social media platforms. The film was released in theatres on February 17. The film had a massive success at the box office, surpassing the 100 crore benchmark, with mixed reviews from critics. 

Vaathi is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, directed by Venky Atluri and produced by Sithara Entertainments. The film is a period social drama, which is set in the 90s. In the film, Dhanush plays a junior professor on a mission to correct the educational system corrupted by the privatisation of institutions.

Besides Dhanush, the film also features Samyuktha, Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Thotapalli Madhu, Aadukalam Naren, Ken Karunas, and Ilavarasu.

Vaathi has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The technical team of the film consist of cinematography by J Yuvraj and editing by Navin Nooli.
