Priya Bhavani Shankar onboard Vishal 34

On Monday, the makers of Vishal-Hari's Vishal 34, announced that Priya Bhavani Shankar has joined the cast as the leading lady of the film. The film marks Priya's reunion with the filmmaker Hari after his previous directorial Yaanai, which had Arun Vijay in the lead. 

Vishal 34 went on floors on Saturday. The film is produced by Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Production and Kaarthekeyan Santhanam's Zee Studios. It is to be noted that the upcoming film will mark the third collaboration between Hari and Vishal after Thamirabharani (2007) and Poojai (2014). 

Devi Sri Prasad is set to compose music for the Vishal 34. The music composer has earlier collaborated with Hari for several films like AaruSingam and Singam 2Venghai, and Saami 2 to name a fewThe makers of Vishal 34 are yet to announce the rest of the cast and technical crew members.

Meanwhile, Priya Bhavani Shankar was last seen in the Radha Mohan directorial Bommai in which she starred alongside SJ Suryah in a lead role. She currently has, Demonte Colony 2 and Indian 2 in Tamil, and Zebra in Telugu in her pipeline. She is also working on a Telugu web series titled Dootha
