Priya Anand part of Thalapathy 67

Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Thalapathy 67 is the second time he will be collaborating with Vijay after Master

Actor Priya Anand, who was speculated to be part of Thalapathy 67, has been confirmed by the makers that she will be playing a prominent role in the upcoming Vijay-starrer.

Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Thalapathy 67 is the second time he will be collaborating with Vijay after Master. The upcoming film will be produced by Seven Screen Studios. “Thrilled to be a part of Thalapathy67! Looking forward to working with such an incredible cast and crew!” said Priya Anand.

This will be the first time Priya will be working with Vijay and Lokesh. Earlier in the day, the makers had announced that Sanjay Dutt has joined the cast of the film. Others expected to be part of the film includes Trisha, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sathyaraj, Gautham Menon, Mysskin.

Manoj Paramahamsa, who recently worked on Vijay’s Beast, will be handling the cinematography. Anbariv will be handling the stunt choreography while Philomin Raj will be taking care of the editing. The art department will be handled by N Sathees Kumar while Dinesh has been roped in to choreograph the dance moves.

The dialogues for Thalapathy 67 will be penned by the director himself along with his frequent collaborator Rathna Kumar, and Deeraj Vaidy, who is best known for directing the 2016 film Jil Jung Juk.

It is yet to be confirmed if Thalapathy 67 will come under the same cinematic universe of Kaithi and Vikram.
