SJ Suryah opens up about working in Jigarthanda Double X

Director Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda Double X, starring SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence, went on floors in December. Now, SJ Suryah in a social media post thanked the director for this opportunity and appreciated the team and production. 

He hinted that the shoot has been wrapped up in a single schedule. His Tweet read, "36 days Ek Dham ore schedule Jigarthanda Double X what a schedule, what a concept, what a set, what a photography, what an expense, what a production value..." (sic)  SJ Suryah also shared a picture of him with Lawrence from the sets of the film.

Extending gratitude to Karthik, he also praised Lawrence for being a wonderful human being. The teaser featured SJ Suryah in a retro look wearing a suit and playing the harmonica, while Raghava Lawrence is a rugged smuggler. The teaser hints that the film will be a combination of action and cinema, just like the first part, which starred Bobby Simha and Siddharth.

The upcoming film has music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer S S Thirunavukarasu, who collaborated with Karthik Subbaraj in Mercury and Petta, and Shafique Mohamed Ali is the editor. 

Jigarthanda Double X is backed by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Kathiresan under the Stone Bench Films & Five Star Creations banners.
