Hungama's new Tamil original titled Maaya Thotta

Hungama OTT's new Tamil original series has been titled Maaya Thotta and it stars Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai-fame Amit Bhargav in the lead. The whodunit thriller features him as a DCP, who investigates high-profile homicide cases.

The series also reunites him with his Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai co-star Chaitra Reddy. Apart from her the series also stars Kumaran Thangarajan in an important role.

Maaya Thotta is reportedly a mix of suspense and action with an unpredictable climax. Without giving anything away, Amit Bhargav shares, “As the script was being narrated to me, my mind jumpstarted into problem-solving mode trying to connect the dots. I had my own theories of how the ending would unfold but I can say with confidence that the viewers will be in equal disbelief. The twist at the end, caught me completely off-guard."

Amit was last seen in 2021's Aranamanai 3, on the silverscreen. On the small screen, he is busy with Thirumathi Hitler, airing on ZEE5.
