We had earlier reported that actors Arya and Gautham Karthik will be headlining a film titled Mr X. The makers have now announced that the film has begun shooting on Monday. The film is directed by Manu Anand, who has earlier helmed FIR starring Vishnu Vishal in the lead role.
Divyanka Anand Shankar and Raam H Puthran have penned the screenplay for the film, along with Manu. Besides Arya and Gautham Karthik, Mr X also stars Sarath Kumar, Manju Warrier, Anagha, among others. The film is backed by Prince Pictures.
In a previous conversation with CE, Manu says that Mr X will be an action drama. "The story revolves around two individuals, played by Arya and Gautham, who embark on a journey towards a common mission. The film unfolds with how their decisions lead them to a situation and how they come out of it," he says, adding that Mr X also explores father-son emotions.
The technical crew of Mr X consists of Tanveer Mir cranking the camera, Dhibu Ninan Thomas composing music and Prasanna GK handling the edit. The filming for Mr X is set to take place across India, Uganda and European countries.
