Earlier, we reported that actor Manoj Bharathiraja would be marking his debut as a director with an upcoming Tamil film, titled Margazhi Thingal

And the film will star his father and veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja in a crucial role, along with newcomers. On Monday, actor Dhanush unveiled the film's first look poster. It features Bharathiraja standing with a stick at the backdrop of a village. And a silhouette of a couple is superimposed in the background. The film will also star Vinoth Kishan and Samyuktha Vishwanathan.

While the film is backed by director Suseenthiran under the Vennila Productions banner, GV Prakash will score the music. Margazhi Thingal will have cinematography by AR Suriya and editing by Thiyagu. It will go on floors by the end of next month.

It is to be noted that Manoj made his acting debut with Taj Mahal, which was helmed by Bharathiraja. Meanwhile, Bharathiraja was last seen in Karthi-starrer Viruman.
