Makers of Sasikumar and Naveen Chandra's film Evidence have released the first look poster. Directed by RDM of Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban fame, the poster has multiple photographs stuck to the wall with several threads linking them. All of them together connect to make the image of Sasikumar.
A number of celebrities including Vishal, GV Prakash, SJ Suryah and Aadhi shared the poster on their profiles.
Apart from Sasikumar and Naveen Chandra, Evidence also stars Yogi Babu and Kasthuri Raja in key roles.
Speaking with Cinema Express, director RDM describes the film to be a "family crime-thriller" which is set around Chennai and Ooty. "It will have commercial as well as emotional elements and will connect well with families," he says. Speaking on how Sasikumar and Naveen Chandra came on board, he shares, "Sasikumar called me after watching Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban. Through him, I met with producer Kathiresan. Later, Naveen approached me and asked me for the story after which he came on board."
Director RDM also explained that the film is in its final stages of production and the makers are planning to release in three to four months' time.
Evidence will be produced by S Kathiresan under the banner Five Star Creations LLP. The film’s music is by Ron Ethan Yohann. With KS Vishnu Shri handling the cinematography, Evidence’s editing is by Deepak M.
