Ashok Selvan, Soundarya Rajinikanth's Gangs goes on floors

Earlier, we reported that Soundarya Rajinikanth is producing a new web series starring Ashok Selvan in the lead role, titled Gangs. On Wednesday, Soundarya took to her official X handle to announce that the series has gone on floors. 

She wrote, "Where I truly belong!!! On location ... on set !!!! 2010 I produced the movie Goa .. 13 years later .. I’m on the producer's chair again. Older and surely much more wiser .. camera has started rolling today!!! Gods and gurus blessings onwards and upwards." 

Gangs is written and directed by Noah Abraham, who has previously worked with Soundarya in Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 as an assistant director. 

Gangs is produced by Soundarya's production house May 6 Entertainment and will be released on Amazon Prime Video. Apart from Ashok Selvan, details of the rest of the cast and crew have not been announced yet.
