On Friday, Sai Pallavi took to her official X (formerly Twitter) handle to quash rumours about her wedding that have been making rounds for a while now.
She wrote, "Honestly, I don’t care for rumours but when it involves friends who are family, I have to speak up. An image from my film’s pooja ceremony was intentionally cropped and circulated with paid bots & disgusting intentions. When I have pleasant announcements to share on my work front, it’s disheartening to have to explain all these jobless doings. To cause discomfort like this is purely vile!"
Recently, social media was filled with speculations and rumours that actor Sai Pallavi has tied the knot in a private ceremony, as photos of her wearing a garland went viral. The rumours were then busted by some others who revealed that the photos came from the pooja ceremony of her upcoming film with Rajkumar Periyasamy.
Sai Pallavi is currently working along with Sivakarthikeyan in the Rajkumar Periyasamy directorial, which is backed by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International. She recently signed up to play the leading lady in Naga Chaitanya's next titled NC 23. The film is helmed by Chandoo Mondeti and backed by Allu Aravind’s banner Geetha Arts.
