Minmini single, Iru Perum Nadhigal, to drop soon 

A new video song from filmmaker Halitha Shameem's upcoming film Minmini, Iru Perum Nadhigal, will be released on social media on Friday.

"Like a river having its starting point just with the water bubbling up from the ground, this film springs up with the release of this song. We are letting it find its course. I'm eager to listen to your thoughts!” the director wrote on social media.

Singer Khatija Rahman will be marking her composing debut with the film.

Minmini, which is said to be Halitha's dream project, was shot across seven years to show the real growth of the actors. It features a bunch of child artists from Halitha's debut film Poovarasam Peepe (2014). Minmini stars actors Esther Anil and Gaurav Kalai in lead roles.

Minmini is expected to be a coming-of-age film that follows two youngsters who carry survivors’ guilt. Manoj Paramahamsa is handling the cinematography.
