Even before the Leo storm can subside, Vijay is set to take the hype train up a few notches. AGS Entertainment, the makers of his next, tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, announced that the updates about the Venkat Prabhu film will start on Sunday. The pooja video of the film, along with the details about the cast and crew will be out on the first update.
Archana Kalpathi of AGS Productions took to her social media accounts, and said, "As promised Thalapathy 68 updates will start tomorrow. 2024 will belong to us. The pooja video will reveal the cast and crew details you have been waiting for at 12.05 pm tomorrow."
It was already announced that the Vijay and Venkat Prabhu film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Since the announcement, the speculation surrounding the possible cast members. Names including Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Priyanka Mohan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Laila, and Mohan have been making the rounds. On Tuesday, clarity on this front is expected.
Earlier this month when the film went on floors, director Venkat Prabhu wrote, "And it began!! #Thalapathy68 with all ur love and wishes!!! This is gonna be a fun roller coaster ride!! And all pics and updates after namma #Leo release!! God is Kind."
Meanwhile, Vijay's Leo, which hit screens on October 19, is breaking box-office records not just in Tamil Nadu, but across various states in India, and even at the global box-office. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, which also starred actors like Trisha, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priya Anand, Sandy Master, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun, was backed by Seven Screen Studio, and had music by Anirudh Ravichander.
