On the occasion of Keerthy Suresh's 31st birthday, Hombale Films, the production company bankrolling the actor's upcoming film Raghu Thatha, has unveiled her character poster from the movie.

The poster has Keerthy Suresh in elegant attire, seated in a chair and smiling for the camera. Sharing the poster, Hombale Films wrote, "Warmest birthday wishes to the ever-charming and talented Keerthy Suresh. We eagerly await your transformation in Raghu Thatha."

Kannada-based production house Hombale Films, well known for backing the KGF films and Kantara, is set to foray into the Tamil film industry with Raghu Thatha.

While the announcement for the film was made last year, the filming was wrapped up this summer.

"Because The Revolution Begins At Home..." reads the tagline of Suman Kumar's Raghu Thatha which is said to be a humourous and satirical take on the journey undertaken by a young woman (Keerthy Suresh) to 'protect the identity of her land and people'.

Suman Kumar, who was one of the writers of the hit Prime Video series The Family Man, is making his directorial debut with Raghu Thatha. Along with Keerthy, MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Ravindra Vijay, Anandsamy, and Rajesh Balakrishnan are playing important roles. It has cinematography by Yamini Yagnamurthy, who also shot Keerthy's Saani Kaayidham (2022). Sean Roldan has been signed as the composer, and TS Suresh as the editor.

Earlier, while talking about the film, Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films said, "Keerthy Suresh is an excellent choice for such a story and role and Hombale Films is proud to work with him. This is a comedy film, and it will be a different attempt to make people laugh and introspect."

The makers have not yet announced the release date of the film.
