20 days ago, composer-actor Vijay Antony's sixteen-year-old daughter Meera died by suicide in their residence. The entire film fraternity, the actor's fans, and the public were taken by shock on hearing the news. Many members of the film fraternity also came forward to express their condolences to the actor and his family.
On Monday, producer and wife of Vijay Antony, Fatima, took to her official X handle to pen an emotional note about her daughter. She wrote, "If I’d known u will live only for 16 yrs. I would have just kept u very very close to me. I would have not even shown you to the sun and moon. I am drowning and dying with ur thoughts and can’t live without you. Come back to babba and amma. Laara keeps waiting for u. Love u Thangam." (sic)
Meera, who was majorly kept away from the limelight, became famous earlier this year after a photo of her with a winner sash went viral on the internet.
