Rana Daggubati cast in Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 170

Actor Rana Daggubati, who was last seen in Telugu film Virata Parvam, has joined the cast of the upcoming Tamil tentatively titled film Thalaivar 170, the makers of the film announced on Tuesday.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film is backed by Lyca Productions. The makers have been rolling out the cast announcements for the past few days. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, among others.

While the technical crew is yet to be announced, the makers have revealed that Thalaivar 170 will have music scored by Anirudh Ravichander.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth who was last seen in Jailer, will be seen making a cameo appearance in the upcoming Lal Salaam which will be released for Pongal 2024. The actor will also be seen working with Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalaivar 171.
