Actor, director and producer Dhanush, on Saturday, took to his official Instagram handle to share a backshot photo of himself along with the announcement that his second directorial, tentatively titled D50, has reached the final stages of filming.Â
He captioned the post, "D50-when the horizon is so close, final stages of filming." Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures is backing Dhanush's sophomore directorial.
As per reports, SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram and Sundeep Kishan are likely to star as leads in the film, alongside Dhanush. However, we await official confirmation from the makers of D50.
On the work front, Dhanush is working on Arun Matheswaran’s Captain Miller. Touted to be an action drama, the film is set in the 1980s. He will be reuniting with Arun Matheshwaran for another film after Captain Miller. He has also signed up films with Mari Selvaraj and Shekhar Kammula.
