As Jigarthanda Double X, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, is all set to hit the theatres on Friday, the makers on Thursday released a new song titled Maamadura. Composed by Santhosh Narayanan with lyrics penned by Vivek, Maamadura has been sung by the composer along with Dhee.
Starring SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence in the lead, the film is the sequel to the 2014 film Jigarthanda which starred Siddharth and Bobby Simha. The upcoming film also stars Nimisha Sajayan, Sanjana Natarajan, and Naveen Chandra in significant roles.
Jigarthanda Double X's technical crew includes music composer Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer S S Thirunavukarasu, who collaborated with Karthik Subbaraj in Mercury and Petta, and editor Shafique Mohamed Ali.
The film is backed by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Kathiresan under the Stone Bench Films & Five Star Creations banners.
