Trisha to collaborate with Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan in KH234

It has been earlier announced that the title of Mani Ratnam- Kamal Haasan's upcoming film, tentatively titled KH234, will be revealed on Monday. Ahead of the title reveal, the makers have now been unveiling the details of the cast. Following the reveal of Dulquer Salmaan being part of the cast, it has now been revealed that Trisha is also part of the upcoming film. 

Announcing the news, Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies, who co-produces the film along with Kamal's Raaj Kamal Film International and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies, wrote on X, "Welcoming the ravishing and versatile Trisha to the exciting journey of KH234". Announcing the same, Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies added, " An enigmatic performer. A powerhouse on screen! We're thrilled to have the fantastic Trisha on board KH234. Happy to be working with you again."

In a post shared on her social media handle,  Trisha wrote, "Blessed when dreams come true multiple times. Thrilled to collaborate again with the legend powerhouses Mani sir & Kamal sir in KH234. Thank you universe"

It's worth noting that KH234 will be Trisha's fourth collaboration with Mani Ratnam, following Aayutha Ezhuthu and the two-part Ponniyin Selvan films. This will also mark Trisha's third collaboration with Kamal after Manmadan Ambu and Thoonga Vanam. 

Meanwhile, Trisha, who was last seen in Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj's film Leo, has a slew of films in the pipeline, including Tovino Thomas' Identity, Mohanlal starrer Ram, directed by Jeethu Joseph, and speculations are rife that she is also part of Ajith Kumar's Vidaa Muyarchi. 

It is to be noted that  KH234 marks the sophomore collaboration between legendary actor Kamal Haasan and the renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam after the 1987 classic film Nayakan.  

The technical crew of   KH234 comprises composer AR Rahman, cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad and action choreographer Anbariv.
