Dulquer Salmaan joins the cast of KH 234

KH 234, the tentatively titled Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam film, keeps getting bigger. It has now been learned that actor Dulquer Salmaan is onboard the film's cast. On Monday, the makers announced the news through their social media handles. 

Announcing the news, Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies, who co-produces the film along with Kamal's Raaj Kamal Film International and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies, wrote on X, " His energy and fervour light up the screens! It is always OKK to work with Dulquer. While Raaj Kamal Films International added, "Excited to collaborate with Dulqueron on this epic journey." 

Taking to his X handle, Dulquer wrote, " A legendary reunion of the masters Mani Sir and Kamal Sir! A learning opportunity of a lifetime. So blessed and grateful to be a part of KH234. " 

It's not Dulquer's first time collaborating with Mani Ratnam; they previously worked together on the 2015 film Ok Kanmani. However, KH 234  will be his first collaboration with Kamal Haasan.

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan, who was last seen in King of Kotha, has a slew of films in the pipeline at various stages of production in multiple languages. These include Lucky Baskhar, directed by Venky Atluri, and the recently announced Suriya 43, directed by Sudha Kongara, which also stars Nazriya Nazim and Vijay Verma.

It is to be noted that  KH234 marks the sophomore collaboration between legendary actor Kamal Haasan and the renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam after the 1987 classic film Nayakan.  

The technical crew of   KH234 comprises composer AR Rahman, cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad and action choreographer Anbariv.
