Vaibhav's Aalambana gets release date 

We had earlier reported that actor Vaibhav will be headlining a film titled Aalambana. The makers on Saturday announced that the film is set to hit the theatres on December 15.

Directed by debutant Pari K Vijay, the film is backed by KJR Studios and Oustubh Entertainments. The film, which is touted to be a fantasy comedy, has Munishkanth playing the role of a Genie.

Aalambana has Parvati playing the female lead. The other stars in the cast include Robo Shankar, Kaali Venkat, Murali Sharma, Dindugal I Leoni and Anandraj. Vedalam-fame Kabir Duhan Singh plays the villain.

Aalambana was shot in locations like Mysore Palace, Chennai, and Pondicherry. The film which went on floors towards the end of 2019, wrapped up the shoot in 2021.

The film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha, cinematography by Nedunalvaadai-fame Vinoth Ramaswamy, and editing by San Lokesh. It is jointly bankrolled by KJR Studios and Oustubh Entertainments.
