Rajinikanth to unveil Kamal Haasan and Shankar's Indian 2 Intro on this date

Earlier, we had reported that a glimpse of the much-anticipated film Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role will be unveiled on November 3. Now, Lyca Productions, the production house backing the film has announced that the glimpse will be released by Superstar Rajinikanth tomorrow at 5.30 pm.

Titled Indian 2 - An Intro, the glimpse is expected to showcase the actors and their roles in the film. The announcement poster shared by Lyca was in the form of a stamp that features the veteran actor with '96 on one side and '23 in the other signifying the year in which the first part was released and the second part glimpse announcement. They wrote on X, "Their friendship that grew over the years has only got stronger with time! Superstar Rajinikanth will release 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan and Shankar's INDIAN-2 AN INTRO tomorrow at 5:30 PM."

Indian 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 film marks the reunion of Shankar and Kamal Haasan after several years. 

It is co-produced by Lyca Productions in association with Red Giant Movies. The upcoming film also features Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Guru Somasundaram, and Bobby Simha in prominent roles. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Ravi Varman handles the camera.

Kamal Haasan, who was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram (2022) has a bunch of projects in hand. He will be seen in a prominent role in Kalki 2898 AD directed by Nag Ashwin, the untitled KH 233, directed by H Vinoth and KH 234 directed by Mani Ratnam.

KH 234, the sophomore collaboration between legendary actor Kamal Haasan and the renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam, after the 1987 classic film Nayakan, went on floors on October 27.
