On Thursday, the makers of Karthi's Japan announced that the film has cleared censorship formalities with a U/A certificate. Helmed by Raju Murugan, the film is gearing up for its Deepavali release on November 10.
Anu Emmanuel plays the female lead in Japan, which also has KS Ravikumar, Sunil, and cinematographer-filmmaker Vijay Milton in pivotal roles. Backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, Japan marks the second collaboration between director Raju Murugan and Dream Warrior Pictures after Joker.
While the music of Japan is by GV Prakash Kumar, the cinematography and editing are by Ravi Varman, and Philomin Raj, respectively.
