The first track from the upcoming Tamil film Maamannan, Raasa Kannu, will be out on Friday, the makers of the film announced. The song is voiced by Vadivelu, with the album scored by AR Rahman.
Maamannan is written and directed by Mari Selvaraj as his third directorial venture after Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan. The upcoming feature stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Keerthy Suresh, Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. Notably, it will mark Udhayanidhi's final film as actor before he takes up full-fledged political career.
While a release date is yet to be revealed, the makers are planning for a June release. The film is backed by Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant movies. The technical crew includes cinematographer Theni Eswar, editor Selva, lyricist Yugabharathi and dance choreographer Sandy.
