The trailer of Sweet Kaaram Coffee, the upcoming series starring Lakshmi, Madhoo and Santhy in the lead roles, was released by the makers on social media on Friday. The show will stream on Prime Video from July 6 onwards.
The trailer shows three women, of different generations, who are shown to be stuck within a framework that does not let them, take ownership of their lives. It is at this moment when they decide to take off to a trip together, as they begin to experience a plethora of emotions, memories and life experiences.
The eight-episode series is created by Reshma Ghatala and produced by Lion Tooth Studios Pvt. Ltd. Touted as an urban family drama, Sweet Karam Coffee is directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Krishna Marimuthi and Swathi Raghuraaman. The cast also includes Vamsi Krishna, Kavin Jay Babu, Bala Suresh, Dev, Ayesha Giulia Kapur, Alexx O' Nell, among others.
The writing team includes Reshma Ghatala, Swathi Raghuraaman, Vinithra Madhavan Menon, Krishnaswamy Ramkumar, with dialogues penned by Siva Ananth.
