Kolai, the upcoming Tamil film starring Vijay Antony in the lead role, is set to hit the theatres on July 21, the makers of the film announced on social media on Wednesday.
The film is written and directed by Balaji K Kumar and produced by Infiniti Film Ventures and Lotus Pictures. Kolai follows the mystery surrounding Indian model Leila, who is found dead under unknown circumstances. Vijay Antony portrays the role of a sleuth, who is employed to solve the case.
Kolai also features Ritika Singh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Murli Sharma, Siddhartha Shankar, Kishore Kumar, John Vijay, Arjun Chidambaram and Samkit Bohra. The film has music scored by Girishh Gopalakrishnan, cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan, editing by Selva RK and art direction by Arusamy.
It is set to release in Telugu and Hindi as Hatya.
