Por Thozhil clears censor formalities

Earlier, we reported that Por Thozhil will hit the theatres on June 9. Ahead of the release, the makers announced that the film has been censored with U/A. 

Directed by debutant filmmaker Vignesh Raja, the film will star Ashok Selvan as Prakash and Sarathkumar as Loganathan. The recently released trailer hints that the two actors play cops investigating a series of murders committed by the same person. 

Por Thozhil also stars Nikhila Vimal in a significant role. Vignesh Raja has written Por Thozhil along with Alfred Prakash. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Kalaiselvan Sivaji, editor Sreejith Sarang and music composer Jakes Bejoy. Backed by Applause Entertainment Studio, it is their maiden Tamil project. The banner behind projects like Scam 1992, and Zwigato, will be producing the film in association with E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio.
