Sivakarthikeyan refutes rumours about Bollywood debut

Sivakarthikeyan has been keeping himself busy doing the last leg of promotional rounds for Maaveeran, which is hitting the theatres on July 14. Meanwhile, actor-writer Adivi Sesh recently revealed that Sivakarthikeyan will be making his Bollywood debut soon.

In the recently held Maaveeran press meet in Chennai, Sivakarthikeyan denied the claims and said that he has no plans for entering the Hindi film industry soon. However, the actor also added that he had asked Adivi if he had a script for him and that he is planning to meet him soon to discuss a possible collaboration. Sivakarthikeyan further clarified that his upcoming film with Rajkumar Periyasamy, which is being jointly produced by RKFI and Sony Pictures, will also be dubbed into Hindi, which is what Adivi Sesh was referring to.

Written and directed by Mandela-fame Madonne Ashwin, the cast of the film also includes Aditi Shankar, Saritha, Mysskin, Yogi Babu, and Sunil. Backed by Shanthi Talkies, the film will release in Telugu as Mahaveerudu. Bharath Shankar, who previously worked with Madonne Ashwin on Mandela, has composed the music for the film.
