SJ Suryah calls his film with Dhanush raw and rustic

Dhanush has been in the news for the past couple of days, ever since the announcement of his third directorial, titled, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam. The actor, who is awaiting the release of Captain Miller, is also working on his second directorial, tentatively titled D50, which is backed by Sun Pictures. 

While official cast announcements are yet to be made, speculations suggest that Dhanush himself and SJ Suryah are the leads in D50. On Monday, SJ Suryah confirmed the reports by sharing a post on X about Dhanush and D50 and wishing the actor/director for Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam. 

Resharing a post shared by a media house, SJ Suryah wrote in Tamil, "Dhanush is a super director too. Dhanush has such great dedication to direction. He is of a different level. D50, our content, different treatment with raw and rustic international output. All the best for NEEK." (sic). 

D50 also reportedly stars Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, and Sundeep Kishan in supporting roles. More details about the plot and crew are yet to be announced by the makers. The shoot for D50 has been wrapped, in the meanwhile. 

Dhanush made his directorial debut with Pa Paandi in 2017, which starred Rajkiran, and Revathi, along with himself in a cameo role. Apart from Captain Miller, he has another film with Mari Selvaraj, one with Shekhar Kamula, and Tere Ishk Mein with Aanand L Rai. He will also be joining hands with Arun Matheswaran for another film after Captain Miller. 

SJ Suryah was last seen in Jigarthanda Double X. He has Vignesh Shivan's Love Insurance Corporation, and Nani 31 in Telugu in the pipeline, and is also in talks to star in a few Malayalam and Kannada films.
