Actor Vikranth, who is currently awaiting the release of the Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth directorial, Lal Salaam, has joined hands with director Ramesh Subramaniam, of Vil Ambu fame for his next. The film is also set to star actor Pavithrah Marimuthu as the female lead. The actor was last seen in Pizza 3: The Mummy.
Sharing the news on X, director Ramesh wrote, "I have started my own production company named 'Big Bang Cinemas'. With that Project "PRODUCTION NO: 01" is getting ready. This is my 3rd film as a director. Former minister S.P.Velumani inaugurated the film Pooja and the shooting is going on. Need your support and wishes."
Further, actor Vikranth shared on X, "Delighted to be part of Big Bang Cinemas' Production #1! Grateful to the exceptional cast and crew. Buckle up for an unforgettable cinematic journey."
Inigo Prabhakar, Yogi Babu and Mippu Samy round out the cast of the upcoming untitled film. While the film's plot and crew details are still kept under wraps, it is known that Balamurali Balu will be composing music for the film.
Meanwhile, Vikranth has yet another untitled film helmed by V P Nageswaran in the pipeline. Vikranth's Lal Salaam, which also stars Vishnu Vishal and Rajnikanth in prominent roles, is scheduled to hit theatres for Pongal 2024.
