The makers of Kavin's Star released the video of the first single titled College Superstars, on Tuesday, on the occasion of actor Rajinikanth's birthday. Composed and sung by Yuvan Shankar Rajaa, Madhan Karky has penned the verses for College Superstars.
The video song shows Kavin along with his friends in college. We see typical college culture, as these boys bunk college, indulge in gang wars, and more. There are also a few tributes to actor Rajinikanth in the video.
Star is directed by Elan and also stars Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan, and Geetha Kailasam among others. Ezhil Arasu K is the cinematographer for Star, which also has Vinoth Raj Kumar N as the art director and Pradeep E Ragav as the editor.
It is to be noted that Star was initially set to feature Harish Kalyan. However, the film was shelved for a while and relaunched with Kavin in the lead.
