Actors Suriya and Karthi donate 10 lakhs for flood relief 

Actors Suriya and Karthi have announced an initial sum of Rs 10 lakhs to carry out relief work in the flood affected districts of Chennai, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu and Tiruvallur. The actors have also promised to offer assistance to those affected through their fan clubs. 

Cyclone Michaung has worst affected most of the areas in and surrounding Chennai district. With the cyclone having crossed Tamilnadu, it is safe to say that the tough part is over. However, most of the people are suffering from heavy flooding and water logging in their neighbourhood. 

On the workfront, Suriya has Kanguva directed by Siva and Karthi has an untitled film directed by Nalan Kumarasamy in the lineup.
