Jawan Pre-Release Event: Lyricist Vivek reveals Jawan has a Tamil song in Hindi version

It would be an understatement to note that Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, directed by Atlee is one of the most anticipated films of 2023. After Pathaan's success, the hype for Jawan has been through the roof. Before even the trailer was released, the makers held a pre-release event for the action-entertainer for which SRK flew down to Chennai. Pictures and videos from the event have gone viral on social media.

The event which was held at Sai Ram Engineering College, had several celebrities attending the event. The cast and crew who were in attendance took to the stage to share their experience working in the film and with King Khan.

Lyricist Vivek, who has penned the Tamil songs for the film, expressed his excitement as Jawan marks his Bollywood debut. He also revealed that Jawan has a Tamil song even in the Hindi version and the film also marks his Bollywood debut. He also quoted a line from Shah Rukh Khan's Hey Ram and welcomed him to Chennai.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, the cast also features Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, and Yogi Babu.

Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under their Red Chillies Entertainment banner. The film is set to be released in theatres on September 7, 2023.
