On the occasion of actor Vishal's 46th birthday, the makers of Adhik Ravichandran's Mark Antony released a special glimpse video. The almost 30-second-long glimpse showcased Vishal in three to four different looks. A new poster with Vishal donning three different roles was also released.
Earlier the makers had released two singles from the film - Adhirudha and I Love You Di. Crooned by T Rajendar, the first song is composed by GV Prakash Kumar with lyrics from Asal Kolaar. I Love You Di is sung by Adhik Ravichandran and Roshini JKV, with lyrics written by Rokesh and Adhik Ravichandran. The third single Amma Ennum Mandhiramey is scheduled to be out today.
Billed as a gangster action drama, the film's teaser suggested that the film exudes an element of time travel that allows Vishal and SJ Suryah to play multiple roles from different timelines.
Mark Antony is bankrolled by S Vinod Kumar, marking his second collaboration with Vishal after Enemy. Besides Vishal, the film features an ensemble cast, including, SJ Suryah, Sunil, Selvaraghavan, Ritu Varma, Abhinaya, Kingsley, and YG Mahendran, among others.
The technical crew of Mark Antony comprises music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Abhinandan Ramanujam and editor Vijay Velukutty. The film, slated to hit theatres on Vinayaga Chathurthi, will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
