The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scripted history as Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft made a soft landing on the surface of the Moon Wednesday evening. The Vikram lander made the soft landing at 6.04 PM (IST). With the mission’s success, India has become the first country to land a spacecraft in uncharted territory near the lunar south pole.
Reactions have been pouring from all quarters and countries with millions of people congratulating ISRO scientists for this achievement. Kollywood celebrities like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Suriya and several others also joined the bandwagon to celebrate the ecstatic moment.
Superstar Rajinikanth took to his X handle (formerly known as Twitter) and lauded ISRO for this monumental feat.

Kamal Haasan, who is working on Project K, has recalled the journey of the ISRO and wrote, "From carrying satellite parts on bicycles to landing on the moon - What a journey it has been!
