While Dhanush's much-awaited film Captain Miller, helmed by Arun Matheswaran, is slated for a theatrical release on December 15, it has now been learned that the actor-director duo will be joining forces again for an upcoming film backed by Dhanush's home banner Wunderbar Films. Further details about the film are yet-to-be-revealed.
Arun Matheswaran's previous directorial ventures include Rocky and Saani Kaayidham. Captain Miller marks his third directorial and first collaboration with Dhanush. Billed to be a period-action-adventure drama, Captain Miller also stars Shivarajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, and John Kokken, among others.
Meanwhile, Dhanush was last seen in Tamil- Telugu bilingual, Vaathi. Besides Captain Miller, the actor's upcoming films in the pipeline include the tentatively titled film D51 alongside Rashmika Mandanna, helmed by Sekhar Kammula, the Bollywood film Tere Ishq Mein, his third collaboration with Aanand L Rai after Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re. Furthermore, the actor is also gearing up for his next D50, which also happens to be his second directorial project after the 2017 film Pa Paandi.
