The makers of the upcoming Tamil film Tamil Kudimagan, starring Cheran in the lead role, released the film's trailer on Monday. Written, directed and produced by Esakki Karvannan, the film also stars Sripriyanka, Lal, S A Chandrasekhar, Deepshikha, and Vela Ramamurthy in prominent roles.
The trailer indicates that the film showcases the atrocities following the cast hierarchies. The trailer shows that Cheran plays a lower-caste person who belongs to a community of people who do death rituals. However, the problem arises when Cheran's character refrains from doing the job.

The film's technical team comprises cinematographer Rajesh Yadav, Editor Karthick Ram, and music composer Sam C S. The film has yet to get a release date.
Meanwhile, Cheran was last seen in Nandha Periyasamy's directorial Anandham Vilayadum Veedu, along with Gautham Karthik.
