With Maamannan, the recently released Tamil film, currently streaming on Netflix, director Lokesh Kanagaraj took to social media to pour appreciation on the film.
"I know I’m late to the party but #Maamannan was such a great watch! Fantabulous work by all the departments, scores throughout! Still reeling in from the film!” the director wrote on X. Lokesh also lauded the lead cast members and Mari Selvaraj who helmed Maamannan.
Maamannan stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The film released in theatres in June and has music by AR Rahman. The film, set against the Salem backdrop, has Vadivelu playing MLA, with Udhyanidhi playing his son. With Fahadh Faasil serving as the primary antagonist, the film received favourable response.
Meanwhile, Lokesh is currently awaiting the release of his directorial Leo, starring Vijay. The film is slated for a theatrical release on October 19.
