Here's a video of the making of Sengadu from August 16 1947

On Monday, the makers of August 16 1947 released a making video. The video showed production designer Santhanam explaining how the set of Sengadu, the village featured in the film, was made. 

August 16 1947 released in theatres on April 7 and opened to mixed reviews. Written and directed by NS Ponkumar, August 16 1947 borrows its title from the date that marks one day after India gained independence from the British colonial rulers. The film tells the tale of a remote village where one man battles British forces. Debutant Revathy Sharma is playing a lead role alongside Gautham Karthik.

Apart from Gautham Karthik August 16 1947, stars Pugazh, Richard Ashton, and Jason Shah, among others. August 16 1947, is backed by AR Murugadoss, Om Prakash Bhatt and Narsiram Choudhary. The film's technical crew includes music by Sean Roldan, Selvakumar SK cranking the camera, and Sudharsan on the edit.
