Actor Silambarasan whose film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (VTK), will hit the theatres on Thursday, reacted to Gautham Vasudev Menon’s request to fans to get enough sleep before catching the 5am shows of the film.

Recently, Gautham, who is collaborating with Simbu for VTK after Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, had asked the moviegoers to get enough sleep before watching the 5am show of the film. Now, reacting to the same, Simbu, who was speaking at a Twitter space on Wednesday said, “This film is very different attempt in my filmography and he might have said keeping in mind how the audience would perceive. I personally think that audience will be able to sink into the world of VTK. I hope they will be able to enjoy the film to the fullest.”

VTK has music by AR Rahman and is produced by Vels Film International. The film is written by Jeyamohan and features Siddhi Idnani as female lead. VTK will release in two parts.
