With the makers of Ajith Kumar's next, Thunivu, confirming a Pongal release, the post-production work of the H Vinoth directorial is going on in full swing.

The latest update from team Thunivu is that the dubbing process is underway, and Manju Warrier, who plays a pivotal role in the film, took to her social media accounts to share that she has begun voicing for her role in the film.

Sharing a photo of her sitting inside the dubbing studio and working on her role, Manju said, "No Guts, No Glory." This phrase is, in fact, the tagline of the film, which marks the third collaboration between Vinoth and Ajith after Nerkonda Paarvai, and Valimai. Apart from the photo of her dubbing, Manju also shared a blurry image of one of the scenes from the film on the monitor while the photo's focus is on the cup housing her preferred beverage.

This is the first Tamil biggie that features Manju in the lead after her splashing debut in Vetri Maaran's Asuran. Apart from starring in Thunivu, Manju also spent a lot of time with Ajith off the sets of the film, and joined him in his usual bike ride adventures across India. Photos from their bike rides were quite the rage back then.

Meanwhile. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Studios acquired the distribution rights of Thunivu is Tamil Nadu. Incidentally, it is set to be a crowded Pongal in 2023 with Vijay's upcoming bilingual Varisu/Vaarasadu, with director Vamshi Paidipally also promising to make it to theatres this Pongal. This is just the second time in eight years that Ajith and Vijay are releasing their films on the same day. Incidentally, all those years back, the clash once again happened on a Pongal day in 2014 with Veeram and Jilla

Billed as an action adventurer, Thunivu also features Samuthirakani, John Kokken and Veera in supporting roles.

With music by Ghibran, Thunivu has cinematography by Nirav Shah.
