Vijay's Varisu audio rights bagged by T-Series

Varisu is slated for Pongal 2023 release

T-Series music label has bagged the audio rights for the Vijay-starrer Varisu, the makers announced on Saturday. 

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the upcoming family entertainer also stars Rashmika Mandanna. The film's music is composed by S Thaman. Varisu marks the first association of the production banner Sri Venkateswara Creations headed by Dil Raju and Shirish and the music label. Meanwhile, Varisu is slated for Pongal 2023 release.

In a statement, MD and Chairman of T- Series, Bhushan Kumar, noted, “It's been a wholesome experience working with Dil Raju, looking forward for this new association which we hope to create magic on musical charts. Being a high-octaine entertainer music plays an integral part in Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu"

Speaking about the film and its music, Dil Raju said, “Varisu is a perfect family entertainer which everyone wishes to see for a festival like Pongal. Music is an integral part of any film, it gives me pleasure to entrust Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series with the rights of this special film as they know our nerve and will deliver the soundtrack it’s due. Thaman. S has delivered scintillating tunes which will surely be lapped up by fans and the audience instantly.”

Scripted by Hari and Ahishor Solomon, Varisu stars Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Khusbhu, Sangeetha, Shaam and Jayasudha essay other prominent roles. It will also be released in Telugu as Vaarasudu.
