Bigg Boss Tamil 6: GP Muthu walks out of Kamal Haasan-hosted reality show

GP Muthu, one of the famous contestants of the ongoing sixth season of Bigg Boss Tamil, has walked out of the much-watched reality show.

On Saturday's show, hosted by Kamal Haasan, GP Muthu, who was serving as the captain of the house, was called into the confession room. After a detailed discussion with the contestant where the actor-politician tried to reason out the former to extend his stay, Muthu decided to call it quits on the show. "More than the fame, the money, and the love of the housemates, I want to go back to my son and be with him. He is also not feeling very well, and I think it is important to be with him at this time," said Muthu, who received rapturous response for his honest decision to leave the Bigg Boss house. The social media sensation didn't get to say a formal goodbye to his housemates.

GP Muthu, who has a strong fan following this season, was celebrated for his innocence and humour sense. However, he also ran into hot water for certain comments he made on the show.

With Muthu out of the contest, social media is abuzz with speculations about the possibility of him returning as a Wild Card. Also, it is rumoured that the first official elimination from the sixth season of the reality show will be dance master Shanthi.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Kamal is shooting for Indian 2. The film is directed by Shankar and is produced by Lyca Productions. A sequel to the 1996 vigilante action film, Indian 2 will feature a host of actors, including Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, among others.
