Nandhi Varman Trailer: unearthing the glory of the Pallava dynasty

The first official trailer for the upcoming thriller film Nandhi Varman has been released online. Billed as a suspense thriller, the film revolves around a 1000-year-old mystery centred around the Pallava Dynasty. The trailer was released by Vijay Sethupathi through his Twitter page. 

Suresh Ravi, known for films like Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban, will be playing the lead in the film. The film is directed by debutant director GV Perumal Varadhan, he has previously worked as an assistant director in Bose Venkat’s directorial Kanni Maadam. The filmmaker has also worked as an associate cinematographer for films like Ratsasan, Maragadha Nanayam, and Bruce Lee.

Asha Gowda plays the female lead in the film while the cast of the film also includes Nizhalgal Ravi, Bose Venkat, Aadukalam Murugadoss, Gajaraj, Ambani Shankar, and JSK Gopi in supporting roles. Jerard Felix has composed music for the film while Kanirajan and Krishnamurthy are handling the cinematography. This is the debut production for AK Film Factory.
