The first look image for Yamakaathaghi releases online

Billed as a supernatural mystery thriller, the film features a cast of fresh faces

The makers of Yamakaathaghi have released the first look poster for their film online. Actor Rashmika Mandanna has released the first look image through her social media handles. The supernatural thriller is directed by Peppin George Jayaseelan while actor Venkat Rahul is producing along with Sujith Sarang and Sreejith Sarang under their banner Naisat Media Works & Sarang Brothers Productions.


Billed as a supernatural mystery thriller, the film features a cast of fresh faces. Roopa Koduvayur places the titular Yamakaathaghi while the rest of the cast includes Narendra Prasath, Geetha Kailasam, R. Raju, Subash Ramasamy, Haritha, Porkodi, Jai, Pradeep, and Ramasamy in supporting roles.

Since the film required a rural setting, the entire filming was completed in villages in and around Thanjavur. Sujith Sarang handles the cinematography while Sreejith Sarang takes care of the editing. The music for the film is composed by Jecin George. The makers of Yamakaathaghi are yet to release the trailer and confirm their release plans for the film.
