Lyric video out for Naai Sekar Returns song Panakkaran

The second single from Vadivelu’s upcoming film Naai Sekar Returns titled Panakkaran has been released online. Lyca Productions launched the song through a tweet from their official handle. The song is now available on Think Music India’s Youtube channel. 

Panakkaran has vocals by Vadivelu and Santhosh Narayanan who has also composed the song while the peppy beat has lyrics penned by Vivek. The makers of the film had earlier released a song titled Appatha which also featured Vadivelu’s vocals while lyrics were written by Durai and Asal Kolar. The film features the first collaboration of Vadivelu with composer Santhosh Narayanan while the actor/comedian is joining hands with director Suraaj for the fourth time.

Directed by Suraaj and with Vadivelu playing the lead, the cast of the film includes Rao Ramesh, Anandraj, Munish Kanth, Reddin Kingsley, Sivaangi Krishnakumar, Shivani Narayanan, ‘Lollu Sabha’ Maaran, Manobala, ‘Lollu Sabha’ Seshu, TM Karthik, Ramar, Bala, and Prashanth Rangaswamy in supporting roles.

Naai Sekar Returns, which marks the comeback of celebrated actor/comedian Vadivelu after five years, is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on 9 December. Vadivelu was last seen in the Vijay starrer Mersal in 2017.
