It's a wrap for Silambarasan's Pathu Thala

Sillunu Oru Kaadhal-fame Obeli N Krishna is directing the film

Shoot for the upcoming Silambarasan-Gautham Karthik film Pathu Thala got wrapped up on Wednesday. The makers informed the same by sharing photos from the last day's shoot.

Pathu Thala, a gangster film, is the official remake of the Kannada film Mufti. Simbu is reprising Shivarajkumar's role from the original, while Gautham Karthik essays the part played by Sriimurali. Sillunu Oru Kaadhal-fame Obeli N Krishna is directing the film.

Pathu Thala also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, Manushyaputhran, and Teejay Arunasalam in prominent roles. Farook J Basha is handling the cinematography for the film, while Praveen KL is taking care of the editing.

AR Rahman, who recently worked in Simbu’s Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, is composing the music for Pathu Thala. The film is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green.

While the makers are yet to confirm the release date, its post-theatrical streaming rights has already been bagged by Amazon Prime Video.
